The Marvellous Machine
By Maria Kuzma-Kuzniarska
I am a Paris-based artist, specialising in artistic nudes. I create mainly works on paper. My work focuses on the form and the motion of the human figure and is deeply grounded in my biomedical background. I am in particularly interested in capturing the constant transitions the human body undergoes throughout life.
I run the Untitled Factory, a little art hub in Paris for local and international artists interested in human form.
Saint John's Eve, Untitled Factory Gallery, Paris, France
A solo exhibit of my watercolours depicting intimate moments between lovers, both slightly nostalgic and mirroring our own troublesome romantic relationships. The fragility that underlies their relationship is expressed in their little gestures and elusive gazes and creates tension and a sense of approaching drama. You can read more about the show here.
